Use a digital photograph as a background in your presentation (PowerPoint 97/2000/2001/2002)
Creating a custom slide background from a digital photograph can create a unique backdrop for your presentation, and it can keep the image out of the way while you create your other slide elements. To paint your slide with a photograph, first choose Format | Background or right-click ([Ctrl]-click on a Mac) on the slide and select background from the shortcut menu to launch the Background dialog box. Next, choose Fill Effects from the background Fill panel's dropdown list and click on the Picture tab in the resulting Fill Effects dialog box. Then, click Select Picture, navigate to and select your saved image file in the resulting Select Picture dialog box, and click Insert. If your image is compatible you should now see a small sample of it on the Picture property sheet in the Fill Effects dialog box. Click OK to return to the Background dialog box and click Apply To All to fix the image to the background of all your slides, or click Apply to set it to just the current slide's background.
Add a picture to a Contact entry in Outlook (2003)
Outlook 2003 allows you to place a picture or graphic on a Contact's entry. Open the Contact and then double-click on the image in the middle of the form. In the Add Contact Picture dialog box, browse to the graphic file you'd like to add and then click OK. Finally, click Save And Close in the Contact form's toolbar. Now when you display this Contact, Outlook also displays the image.
