Course Policies
Booking & Payment Policy
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment. Payment is required at the time of the booking and no less than 10 (ten) business days before course commencement. Any order in the amount of $999.00 +GST and under we will only accept payment by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, AMEX and PayPal). Any order in the amount of $1000.00 + GST and over we accept credit card or we can issue an invoice provided we have a PO number. Purchases made by companies that do not have a PO system are subject to approval by New Era Technology.

New Era Technology reserves the right to: change pricing or registration terms and conditions, to make changes to any of our products or programs described on this website, or to change a course location or cancel a course at any time without notice or liability.

Cancellation Policy
Application Course Cancellation (Business Soft Skills, Adobe Creative Suite & MS Office)
  • Cancellation notice of 2 (two) week prior to the course start date is required for a full refund of the purchased price, less an $85 Administration Fee.
  • Cancellation notice of 1 (one) week prior to the course start date is required for a 50% refund of the purchased price, less an $85 Administration Fee.
  • Cancellation notice of less than 1 (one) week prior to the course start date or non-attendance will not be refunded. The full cost of the course will be invoiced. However, the student is eligible to 1 (one) re-sit, according to our Re-sit Policy.

Technical Course Cancellation (Courses listed on New Era's Technical Course Schedule)
  • Cancellation notice of 2 (two) week prior to the course start date is required for a full refund, less an $85 Administration Fee.
  • Cancellation notice of less than 2 (two) week prior to the course start date or non-attendance will not be refunded. However, the student is eligible to 1 Re-sit, according to our Re-sit Policy.

Due to the intricacy of course scheduling and instructor availability, we may cancel, postpone or reschedule a course at our sole discretion. However, if any available substitute dates are not suitable to you, you shall receive a full refund.

Room Rentals & Group Training (Onsite or Offsite)
  • Cancellation notice of 2 (two) week prior to the scheduled date is required for rescheduling or a full refund, less an $85 Administration Fee.
  • Cancellation notice of less than 2 (two) week prior to the scheduled date will not be refunded. All charges will be invoiced at the full cost of room rental or group training.

Substitution Policy
We understand that things come up so we have a Substitute Policy. This allows a registered student to send another individual in their place to a registered course any day prior to the course, even on the start day of the course.

Re-sit Policy
In the event of a registered student not attending a scheduled course or cancelling within 1 (one) week prior to the course start date, we offer a Re-sit Policy. The Re-Sit Policy allows the student to reschedule the course for a later date the student has up to 6 (six) months from the course start date they were originally registered for to schedule a re-sit. Once a Re-Sit is scheduled, it cannot be rescheduled. If the student misses the re-sit date, they lose the credit for the course and full payment will be invoiced. The Substitution Policy is not applicable to re-sits.
